#10. DJI Inspire II

I know what you're thinking.  

How could the DJI Inspire II be number 10?

We all agree it arguably should be number one on this list, but the reason she isn't is for one reason only, PRICE.  A dream to fly, Looks soooo cool.  But this drone is beyond many of our price point and is for professionals.  This list however, is for the average income person who wants the best drone at the best affordable price.

# 9. Q500 Typhoon  

The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 is a big drone.  If you want a drone that looks cool and turns heads.  This it is!  About 16.5 inches long and stands over 8 inches tall, and weighs just under 4 pounds with the battery and camera attached.  

I like that its camera is removable, and can be used handheld with an included accessory grip. It’s remote control incorporates a touch-screen Android system into its design, so you don't have to use smart phone. It also has a follow me mode.

It takes nice video, but not as well as the DJI Phantom.  It’s a great drone and looks so cool, the controller is super cool too with many features; however, compared to DJI Phantom, for the price, it ranks number 9 on our list.

# 8. XIAOMI Mi Drone

                

Xiaomi is a popular electronics brand in china and this new drone gives buyers the option to purchase it with a 4K camera with included remote that uses your smartphone.  It's modular with a detachable camera.  Has a 5,100mAh battery, and gets 27 minutes of flight time

The Mi Drone uses both GPS and GLONASS for positioning, and has a visual positioning system on the bottom giving it increased stability  while flying at low altitudes.  Includes auto takeoff, landing, return to home, waypoint navigation, and orbit.  

If you are looking for an alternative to the DJI Phantom, the Xiaomi Mi Drone may be it!

# 7.Parrot Bebop 1. Quadcopter Drone

My Thoughts:

The Parrot Bebop is my first Advanced Drone. It takes great video and is super easy to fly.  For me I enjoy flying it fast and doing tricks and flips with it.  It's a fun flyer.  This drone is one of my personal favorites and is one that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great drone at a great price!  For under 250 this drone is the best bet!

Last summer, this drone was around 500 dollars.

#6. Parrot Bebop 2. Quadcopter Drone

My Thoughts:  I got this drone and was super impressed.  It flies about 20 minutes on a single charge and is super stable.  It takes great video and is so so easy to fly.  
Highly recommend.  I love this drone.

#2. DJI Phantom 4 Professional Quadcopter 4K

 

My Thoughts:

The Phantom 4 is certainly the best DJI quadcopter I’ve ever flown.  It's nimble , quick and well balanced.  The photo’s and video are amazing.  It shoots 4K video and takes 12MP photo stills.  The new gimbal design takes noticeably smoother videos.

The Phantom 4 also has downward-facing cameras with sonar sensors to enable its Visual Positioning System. This allows the drone to know where it is without a GPS. (The Phantom 3 has this feature too.)

It’s new features make it easier to fly and harder to crash because it has two optical cameras on the nose that sense and avoid objects in its path.  It has quick release props, better more simplified controls, impressive camera upgrades, and new intelligent flying modes and obstacle avoidance and ActiveTrak that keeps the camera focused on a specific target.

It’s a crazy stable flyer and the camera is fantastic! It’s also a lot of fun too.  If you enjoy taking aerial video and want the best, this is it!

#1. DJI Mavic Pro

My Thoughts:

Portability! The Mavic folds down into a small package that’s the size of a brick and has a compact controller that looks so cool too.

Has a 4K camera with 12.7 megapixel stills and super compact 3-axis gimbal that allows it to capture super stabilized video with ActiveTrack and Optical Flow software, which allow it to track objects and sense obstacles by its camera and image analysis algorithms.   The camera shoots at 79 degrees which is narrower than the Phantom 4’s, 94 degrees.  

Mavic's speed peaks at 40 miles per hour and provides 25 minutes of flight time.   DJI equipped the Mavic with an all-new video transmission system called OcuSync, which stretches the its maximum range up to 4 miles and boosts resistance to interference. At shorter ranges, it can stream footage at 1080p resolution.

My opinion, this is the best drone for the best price!  Super portable, light weight, easy to fly, quick to set up, incredible video and pictures, amazing range and on and on and on.  This is the best drone and I'm sure everyone who owns this drone will agree.
